Tomáš graduated in Audiovisual Technology and Signal Processing at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Since childhood he has been fascinated by the technologies that create image and sound. His early practice was in computer graphics and technical production. As a projectionist he gained valuable experience with both digital and classic film (16mm, 35mm, 70mm, IMAX). His work has been covered by The Associated Press, Forbes, Czech Television, Czech Radio and others, and his name has appeared in The Washington Times, The Telegraph, ABC News and many more. For over a decade he has run the projectionist course at the Secondary Technical School of Communications in Prague, which more than 200 projectionists have now completed. He continues to develop projectionist training through a number of projects, including work with the National Film Archive. He also specialises in streaming and OTT technologies running on cloud infrastructure. Outside all of this he works as a DJ and takes an interest in producing electronic dance music.
